Overtures to nearby faith communities, in particular the Muslim mosque in Sharon, are ongoing to seek ways of learning about other faiths and working in collaboration with them on such things as the Season for Nonviolence.
Issues of homelessness and hunger are increasingly being made known in our communities. Community dinners or soup kitchens are available and people may volunteer at the following:

- Attleboro Area Council of Churches Food 'n Friends, operates 6 kitchens in Attleboro, Mansfield, North Attleboro, and Seekonk. Call Pam at 508-222-2933
- Our Daily Bread is an ecumenical soup kitchen which has been operating since 1985 in Taunton. Meals are served at 11:15 to 1:00 each day at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Phone 508-824-1788
